Two food truck events in Ancaster during the summer are on Tuesday nights (Garner Rd W. at Bethesda United Church-closest HSR Rymal 44 bus stop would be at Shaver Road and walk back on the shoulder to cross at the church parking lot entrance) and on Thursday nights (Wilson St. E, just past Halson St., on Ancaster 16 bus route with stop at Halson St.) at Ryerson United Church.
I went last week to the Tuesday night one and really raved over Luchador's Thai Curry meal ($7.75-a small tortilla with curry, chicken, cheese and toppings and small side of tortilla chips). Canned pop is $1.75 there as well.
A second truck (all black with various fries-think it was the poutine one)-you must try their Thai Fry. It was a order of fries topped with chopped cilantro, sesame seeds, a sweet chili? sauce and those new-fangled carrot noodles (from the spiral cutters) on top. A tiny wedge of lime graced the lot. Yum! $8 for an order.
A pasta food truck lists Osso Buco for $12 on its menu.
What are you loving from the food truck menus? This thread is currently associated with: N/A2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

There is also
- Gore Park Summer Promenade Wed, Thur, Fri lunch and Thur dinner
- Down by the Bay - Friday nights by the Haida
- Food Truck Alley (Aberdeen & Longwood) - there is usually 2 there most days
- Seven Sundays in Gage Park
I am all about the Razor from Dobro Jesti which isn't on their summer menu (sad face)
Chicken schnitzel covered in marinara sauce then in a panini press with lots of cheese
Their garlic bites and rice balls are amazing too
Gorilla cheese, they are the original food truck and I still love their sandwiches but have been trying some of the others more recently
Pulled Pork Poutine from Dirty South
The Philly Cheesesteak from Urban Express
The next ones on my list to try are Bobs Baked Taters and Great British Bake

I did not know about the food trucks by the Haida. Was aware of the Gore Park food truck weekday events and the Food Truck Alley on Longwood but I am not passing those spots regularly.
Wish to have some pulled pork this summer and would like another fusion dish. Have always missed Gorilla Cheese at events and then I hear from others that the truck was in the area. One day...2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

I love the Meatball Shoppe and Southern Smoke does a great Chicken and Waffles "sandwich". I'm loving the food trucks in Hamilton. I went to Sew Hungry down on Ottawa Street a few months ago when the street was full of food trucks. Great chance to try lots of local food trucks.

August issue of SNAP Hamilton had a photo spread of Summer of Food Truck Rallies at St. Elizabeth Village (Garth St. south of Rymal Rd). Every Wed from 4-8pm, until the end of September, the food trucks will be on-site.

The route 35 College goes into the Village every other trip and rt 44 Rymal would bring riders nearby the village but then they'd have to hike in.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Sew Hungry is on May 1 this year on Ottawa Street. http://shopottawastreet.com/blog/cal...ew-hungry-2015
Southern Smoke will be opening its storefront on the street this year. There were positions posted on its Facebook page.
Then there are also two spinoffs from popular food trucks set to launch brick and mortar locations. Southern Smoke will bring its delicious meat-centric menu, from pulled pork to smoked mac ‘n cheese, to its location. And food-truck fave Gorilla Cheese will unleash its gooey goodness on the neighbourhood soon as well.
Holy Food Truck in Ancaster starts on May 19 up to October 1 (Tuesday afternoon to evening).

I read in the August issue of TheSil that Gorilla Cheese will have a presence in the McMaster Student Union building's (seems to be called the Commons building?) food court this year! Great for those of us who might pass through campus on transit but miss food truck events!
