If I bought pampers cruisers and used a bonus coupon but later want to exchange for pampers easy ups. Will I lose my bonus points?

That's terrible! They should let you exchange it or something, and definitely keep the points.

Yes - because Shoppers doesn't have an exchange option - they have to return the product, and then repurchase the one you want. So you'll lost any bonus point associated with that product

Exceptions (this is YMMV, some SCers say their store will do this for them):
No receipt return - your receipt is not scanned, so your Optimum card is not connected to the return. Then you repurchase the right product.
No fuss exchange - some SCers have said their store will just let them change the product without even dealing with an actual return.

    Yes sometimes for exchange,
My store doesn't scan my receipt.

This is a weird story but one time my mother bought a $400.xx laptop at SDM during 20X and she brought it home, and I told her that it really wasn't worth anything since the specs were awful so she returned it. I remember being so frustrated with her for buying a laptop when she knew nothing about computers, while she has two children who are web application developers.

A couple weeks later the 20X pts (80 000) went on her card from this purchase, despite the fact that she returned the item. This happened almost a year ago, I am not sure how my store processes returns but they didn't realize there was 20X promo on at the date of purchase.
