    On Saturday, after much thought, I decided to apply for the Scotiabank Scene Visa card on swagbucks.com. If approved you get 4000 swagbucks (worth $40 in gift cards), and you get 4000 scene points (4 FREE movies) when you make your first purchase. I was approved. Yay! My first Visa card. I've always had Mastercards, but never a Visa. I have to wait 3 weeks to get my swagbucks but I cant wait.

    Then I stopped by Shoppers Drug Mart for the spend $75 get 18500, 38000, or 50000 bonus Optimum points. I got:

    Royale Tissue $3.99-$1 coupon=$2.99
    (2) Kellogg's Eggo $2.49-$1 coupon=$1.49 each
    Snack Pack Pudding $2.99
    Vidal Sasoon Hair Dye w/ bonus $8.99
    (2) Europe's Best Veggies $2.99 each
    Pringles $1.99
    False Nails $14.99
    Systane Ultra Eye Drops $13.99
    Goody Hair Clips $4.99
    Quo Lash Brush $6.50 (Mad about this as it was marked as $3.99, I was so concerned about maling sure I got my bonus points I forgot to pay attention to the price, Grrr!)
    Maybelline Gel Liner $6.99
    Revlon Eye Shadow $11.19
    Quo Toe Separator $3.85
    Oreo Cookies $1.99 SDM 20x points coupon

    I peeled open my bonus card... 50000 points, which is worth $85 on regular redemption. Yay! So excited. The girl at the checkout said it was the first one she has seen.

    Saved $43.00
    Regular Points 930
    Product Bonus Points 1140
    Coupon Bonus Points 3000 (for spending $20 in cosmetics dept)
    Transaction Bonus Points 18690
    I have to wait until August 11th to get the rest of the 50000 points.
