Perhaps I have the wrong idea, and shop.ca is probably just a search site for items, and doesn't presume to offer goods for reduced prices....right? Because I've yet to find any bargains there.....so what's the draw?

I used to, but not recently
You can also earn cash back through ebates etc and use coupons they offer on facebook etc which brings the price down below what other stores sell them for

I have purchased some items there, when it has 25 off 75 paypal and 15-20% cash back and some 10-30 off coupon, it will worth to try.
but now, there is not many good deals.

I bought a snagli stroller recently, baby R us retail price is 499, 249 on shop.ca, and I had 30 off 100 coupon, plus 15% cash back, so after all these discounts , total after tax will be around 206cad, this stroller on overstock.com is 167usd before tax, but I calculated I wouldn't get it for 200cad if I buy from there. So, thats the story.

It used to be good but now there hasn't been anything worth getting recently. Bought some things when they had a $15 off $30 purchase coupon. That's a pretty good deal if you can find something at an uninflated price

Apply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.

I shopped there when they offered coupon codes a while back.

However, I am now banned, lol!

I would say no. Shop.ca adds the cost of shipping into all the products (hidden inside the price) and then inflates the price further.

Shop dot ca site with their "free shipping" (so called because their shipping cost IS included into the price) is good for people who live in remote places, at farms, ... from where it's hard (gas prices, time consuming) to get to a city for shopping. But otherwise it's totally not worth shopping on their site (unless you get an item for free). Even with $$$ off prices + discounts from codes, etc... their goods are more expensive than those at other stores (also considering that they often sell discontinued items).

So, yes, if you can get an item from them for totally free, then shop there, if not, don't waste your money and time.

I just ordered from there for the first time. I had a coupon for $15 off and free shipping so I was able to get the first season of I dream of Jeannie for like $5 and change. I thought that was a good deal. My first experience there was good. lol
