So at about 9:30pm last night I see a message on one of my closest friends FB wall that some one came into her yard and stole her daughters bike. Now this wasnt just any bike as my friend's daughter has cerebral palsy so this was a very special 3 wheeled bike. Anyways, I started posting on my wall, a few different local groups Im part of and word started spreading.
When I jumped on FB at roughly 8 am this morning, i even noticed our local Ford/GMC dealership had it posted on their wall!!! I started going even further and posted on some local news and radio stations.
By 930 am she messaged me saying CBC woke her up saying they wanted to come out and do an interview with her and her daughter! CTV had also go tin touch with her!
I told her to get back to me and let me know what happens.
Well, suddenly at 1130 am i get a phone call from her, which was kinda strange cause we usually fb message or text. Anyways shes crying, and tells me she just got an anonymous phone call from some who had just ordered her daughter a brand new bike on-line!!!!! We both completely lost it and started bawling and just in complete shock at the generosity of some people!!!! The CRAZY part, is this person is in NEW YORK CITY!!!!! The word traveled that far!!!!!
Im still sitting here this evening on cloud nine thinking about it!!! Here is the story for anyone who is interested:
