SO I have a mild obsession with stationary products, making back to school shopping the best thing ever. Unfortunately, now that I am in University I don't really need markers, crayons…ect. But Luckily for me my sister just got her first classroom (this comes after a very long year of being an unemployed teacher, so this is crazy exciting for her!) so it was time to stock up! Here is what we purchased for her classroom:
30x 24 pack Crayons $0.25 each = $7.50
30x 10 pack of pencils $0.10 each = $3.00
30 x 80 page exercise book $0.05 each = $1.50
10 x 24 pack Pencil Crayons $0.94 each= $9.40
We will be heading back to get some more crayon for my little sister on the weekend (she loves to do crafts with them) but I think we did quite well for spending less than $25!This thread is currently associated with: StaplesCome Join me on Swawbucks! I love Staples for this time of year! I picked up 10 of the $0.10 150 count paper - my daughter doesn't care what kind of paper she has for drawing and 9/10 of these have lasted me a whole year so I'm ready for another year of a paper littered office!

Good for you. All these were so, so expensive before. It cost parents an harm and a leg to get their children ready for school. Some of us can relate to that. I am so happy now with all the great stores that we have an can get things sheaper.

Back-to-school always feels like the beginning of a new year to me! Nice buys. Has anyone tried the pencils yet? Wondering if they sharpen well, if lead stays in ....
