New to the forum, but I've used the SCOP many times before. However - I have a question for you guys since you quite knowledgeable about this policy. Today at Walmart, I picked up 3 different scents of Windex hand cleaner. They were originally priced at $4.19 but had a rollback for $2.94. Although it's the same product, Windex hand cleaner, each one had a unique UPC code because they were different scents. They would only give me one for free, but I thought they were obligated to give them all free because although they are similar, they are not exact same items. One time at RCSS I bought 3 each of 4 kinds of soup that were on sale, and they rang in wrong, so they gave me the first item of each specific kind for free. What do you guys think?

Each one should have been free, since they are different UPC.

Thanks for the confirmation! I have already left a v/m for a return call from the SCOP people, but I am going to go back to Walmart in their customer service area later this week to try to get them to refund me. It's not just about the price, the manager who came to do the price check seemed to be trying to make me feel bad about asking for the freebie. I ended up telling her that this is why the code exists. I am on my lunch break, you have incorrect prices, and I'm stuck waiting 15 minutes because the price is wrong and then the cashier has no idea what to do when someone tries to claim the SCOP. I also mentioned that what if I hadn't noticed, then I'm out the money. She treated me as if I was taking money out of her purse. Oh well, it won't deter me from asking for this in the future.

Question: Today I was at SDM, there was a sale price tag on one item valid until 9 oct. But today is 10 oct. So does it consider as Scop?

    Yes
assumimg you and many others pick it up after seeing a sale price it scan the reg price ifyou dont notice the company profits at your expense
Many times it may only be a $1 or $2 but in caseslike SDM the reg prices are insane so it could mean as muvh as $5 or $10 difference

Not my SCOP brag, but my mom's:
She went to Sobeys and picked up 2 boxes of some Jane's fish product (I don't recall the exact name). They were on sale for $5.99 but they came up $6.99. So she paid $13.98 minus 2 $1.00 coupons she had so she originally paid $11.98. Then when she went to customer service they gave her back $6.99 on one (making it the free) and the price adjustment of a $1.00 on the other. So she paid $3.98, unfortunately the Save.ca $1.00 back was sold out but she got $0.75 from Zweet So it is like she paid $3.23 for two boxes of fish.

Got free floss today at Walmart today.
Tag said $3.38 but rang up as $3.98. There was several types of Oral B Floss and had a gut feeling that the $3.38 one would ring in wrong since all the other tags were $3.98. And I was right. Why not just price everything the same? who cares if one is mint or spearmint?

I got a package of Highliner frozen fish fillets from Metro yesterday. The shelf price was $7.99 but the product scanned for $13.99. The supervisor/manager argued with me that I am entitled to $10 off the price of $13.99. What a bunch of #*@^! Anyway, after I explained that I know the policy and it's $10 off the lower price I was grudgingly given the product for free.
