I never buy a brand OTC medicine. The price difference is too much for exactly same thing

MH and I used to supply fresh rainbow trout from our farm in the UK to Tesco. I used to drive our processed fish direct to their depot and I watched all the trucks unloading alongside me. That is when I learnt to buy Tesco's own brand. They were being unloaded from "branded" trucks. What an eye opener! I am sure its the same in Canada.

NN cheese is made by Armstrong for a fraction of the cost unless Armstrong has a really good sale on.

I'd like to see more info on who produces the "No Name" foods if anyone could put it all in one spot As far as Med's go...does anyone have a verdict on buying Dollarama medicine? I'm skeptical. Anyone use it regularly?

when it comes to meds prefer name brand. concerning groceries certain house brands can be good, namely Kirkland is better than some name brands. However, there are some brands I find I prefer to use over cheaper generic items especially as someone mentioned you can use coupons on them which you can't with most house brands.
