last wknd i received an email for 20x when i spend $25.
i used to coupon on saturday and my account still isn't showing the 20x, just the base amt.
is there a waiting period with this type of offer?

i checked shoppers optimum faq and there isn't any info on this.

Most likely your points will be awarded by the 14th of the following month (in this case September) - this is the usual case for the personalized email coupons.
Email coupons that are the same for everyone (spend x get y points coupons that everyone gets and are posted on here) have reward by dates that are usually closer.
Mail coupons for the 20x or 18,500 points are usually added a few weeks later.

The only time points are awarded right away are on store promo days (usually Saturday or Sat/Sun promos that are offered in the flyers) and points that are around the 8,000 or less range.

But yes, you have to make sure to read the coupons carefully, as they will say on them when the points are awarded.
