dear Sc friends, still need prayer for DB

as many of you know, one of my DB broke an ankle in Mars.....yesterday, he told me thing doesn't look good , his Dr is worry about what x-ray show and his wound is not closed and does not heal ....

he will have a scan within the next 2 weeks and maybe a surgery......

Mia, sorry to here that. Hang in there, things will be fine. Hopefully he gets looked after sooner than later, especially if there's a bad break, I've never heard of them waiting 2 weeks to fix it? Hopefully they'll call him back and get him in there ASAP, like mayber tomorrow!!!

Mia, I'm sorry of course, but I don't understand: he broke his ankle in March, and I'm assuming it was attended to...likely involving a cast...but I don't understand about the wound...was his skin broken by the break? What kind of surgery might he have?
Sorry, just trying to understand.

I too feel confused as to what did not heal? I hope they do not have to re-break the bone and reset it? Is that how they fix things that do not heal properly? Poor guy, Mia hope he gets some clearer answers.

sorry, about the confusion.....he had a surgery in March to repair the broken bones , he told me this week the wound is not closed ( i think i'll ask him more info ) and his Dr is worry as it i supposed to be heal by now....and the x ray show a '' cloud '' around the bone.....can be infection, the metal they put in the bone or just the bone that create extra bone....
i can't thank you enough for all the prayers and everying, i'm so worry about him

oh Mia, that does not sound good at all. Will continue prayers for him and hope the Dr's can figure out how best to contain the damage or infection.

Thank you for the explanation, Mia, not that you owed us one, but it was a tad confusing...I'm so sorry his wound didn't heal...it was always my scare when I had my surgery in May and plates put in, also. I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of it and perhaps some big drug guns are called for..or, as our doctor would say..."Def Con 2"...regarding treatment.
Is he diabetic? I know that can have a negative affect on healing...
I keep him in my prayers, Mia...and you and your family.

i know now for sure that is really the cutting wound from the surgery that doesn't healed....his dr said he never saw this .....he had some new exams this week (last one was yesterday)...hoping he gets good news soon

last news, DB had all her tests done and he will need another surgery, they will take a bone part in his leg to put it on his ankle......still need prayers ...thank you so much

my knee is still in bad shape , irm showed nothing damaged but still need to see orthopedist

+ other bad news about my health.....i'm still in the ''denied phase''....but not in a '' blind phase' and i'm doing everyting to control it
