Thread: Excel File that calculates your spending after coupons.

    Greetings everyone.

    I have created an excel file which will let you see how much you will pay when using coupons. The file asks you:
    1) the price of the product and
    2)the coupon price applied

    and does the rest of the calculations for:

    1) taxes on the product
    2) original price, with taxes
    3) your final cost after coupon

    The first tab does one product at a time. The second tab does calculations if you have more than one of the same product with certain amount of coupons.

    Feel free to send me critical feedback. However I thought this tool would be neat in case we need to budget our spending.

    PS: I assumed the tax would be 13 cents per dollar.

    Question >>> I live in calgary where there is only a GST of 5 % so the 1.13 mutiple would be 1.05 ?
    and how to calculate for mutiple pricing eg 4/$5 ?
