My cat died today. I don't know what to feel but I miss him already.

Oh Chantel, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest things, ever. If it's any consolation, he probably never save it coming and it was over in a split second. Take heart in knowing he's with all our other pets, in pet heaven. He will be well looked after, and is probably already chasing a bird or some mice. Again, I'm so very very sorry for your loss

My heart breaks for you.......what a beautiful, or should I say, handsome cat !
This happened to my neighbours cat that I cat-sit a few months ago and I was devastated......it's so sad and it hurts so much to think they may have suffered.

Jack was a handsome cat and I can see how loved he was with his very own Christmas stocking.
I don't think he suffered at all. It would be swift if his injuries were enough to cause him to die.
I feel for you and your family, it's so difficult to lose a beloved family pet but you obviously treated him great and he had 7 wonderful years of love.

I understand how hard this must be.A pet that has been with us through hard times,offering us unconditional love earns a special place in our hearts.I'm so sorry you lost your kitty friend so suddenly without a chance to say goodbye,it must be a terrible shock.I have,sadly seen a cat die almost instantly from being hit by a car,and it,too,showed very little signs of trauma except a small amount of blood.Someone else hit it,btw-I scooped it up and held it while it passed,mere seconds.I believe from what your mom described that your Jack had a speedy end as well,and as others have said did not suffer.Smile when you remember his light,he was sent to be with you for a reason,and will live forever in your heart.Blessings.......
