What is something you do, in your own unique way?

Hmmm, that's a good one Dan. There are so many things. Cooking is probably the thing I do best, in everyone's opinion, including mine I'll take a recipe and make it exactly the way it states. Then, if I like it, I'll make my changes to it to do it the way I like it....MY WAY!

Hmm, well, I'm an oddball, so everything I do is a bit different.

I'm the only person I know crazy enough to take on a feral kitty considered by so-called experts and teach him dog tricks. Yes, he is the infamous Quincy cat that a few SCers have met, the goofball I schlep around in a purse.

Right now, I'm driving the experts at the transplant clinic to drink, since my bloodwork is showing wonky things, yet I don't have the right symptoms. Then again, I'm usually the fine print in the medical texts (0.0001% of patients *might* experience the following....).

Like others, I tend to do most things in my own odd way. I always buy things in even numbers, all my cans have to be upside right in my cupboard ect. I pretty much like things done not only in my odd way but I am pretty stubborn about everything and like things done my way, lol.

Hmmm. Maybe that I don't try to keep up with The Jones. Don't try to show off with new car or new things that we can't afford.

I remember that "great deal" where the federal government was offering a tax rebate if you did renovations up to $10,000 to get a refund. Some coworkers were falling all over themselves to do stuff around their house. Most borrowed money to get a small rebate.

We did not have it -- $$$. We saved a little and when we had enough, we fixed what needed fixing. One thing at a time. No borrowing.

We never got the rebate. We also didn't owe the bank for a renovation loan

Nothing terribly original here. I follow recipes, I follow rules, I use conditioner for average hair, I live in an average house and drive an average car. I honestly can't think of a single thing about me that I do "my way."

I have chronic insomnia, chronic fatigue and anxiety disorder. I built my business from home in a business where face to face sales is everything. It took me 4 years, but now I have experienced brokers coming to "me" for help.
When you're different from everyone else, you have to work harder than everyone else, BUT. . . . .

This is lol funny! You are all wonderful -- from the "oh so normal" to the "completely odd-ball" .... I laughed so hard reading how you all see yourselves..... I see myself as closer to Ninna...but not completely.... I follow rules - but I'm entirely too logical so if they don't make sense then out they go.... I follow recipes - but I usually haven't planned properly so I have to switch up ingredients .... I love to cook when it's not a weeknight at 6pm and I was too tired to stop for groceries on my way home .... I'm not into showy stuff - cars, jewelry etc .... but I have always had a fascination with the color purple .... in fact given choices on all clothes - it would always be purple - it makes me feel good!

My way? Everything. Sort of a cross between Gypsy Sisters-Jersey Shore and refined old Hollywood and Goth. An introverted-extrovert, an puzzle wrapped up in a riddle. Throw a little OCD in the mix and you get ME!

I wash/clean the shower stall, standing inside of it, wearing rubber boots. I am fully clothed in my cleaning clothes. I just don't want to get my feet wet and amazingly my clothes don't either. The secret is the shower hose. I 'm in control of it.
