We looked at some YouTube videos about organizing your space with Dollar Tree items.
We went and found they have items for 1.25
PLUS
at the front entrance, they have carts with items for 2/1:
back to school supplies
chocolate bars
Little Debbie bakery stuff
We bought plastic bins to organize the freezer, fridge, closet and under the sink.
Each was $1.25, 3/$1.25 or 5/$1.25.
We popped over to a close by Dollarama and found plastic bins for $2 -- the SAME bins at Dollar Tree was $1.25.
Except for Naya water (4/$1.25), Dollarama was more expensive than Dollar Tree Canada
Do you agree?
Would love to hear your take on this.

Good to know. Thanks. I tend to go to dollarama because it's closer didn't realize the competition.

i agree however dollar tree does not carry "nicer" items like betty crocker
i usually go to dollar tree first and if i couldn't find a certain item then i'd go to dollarama

I would have to agree. I visited a Dollar Tree last week and found their selection and products to be superior and cheaper than Dollarama on a lot of items. There are still some items I find at Dollarama that can't be found elsewhere for under $5.00 such as the Betty Crocker line of bakeware and utensils.

I tend to agree too.
I love that the Dollar Tree price is $1.25 or less, while the Dollarama seems to go up to $3.

Definitely! Dollar tree is cheaper. I've stopped going to Dollarama now that I have found a Dollar Tree in west Ottawa.

Dollar Tree is cheaper but so is the quality on a lot of things. Plus I find they don't carry much variety unless you're looking for food, cleaning supplies or containers.
I love that they take credit cards, have wider aisles and are never busy.

It will be interesting to see what happens with pricing at both stores when the tariff ends on goods imported from China/India, etc.
I did the Dollar Tree online survey from the store receipt. Went to look at Winners of their cash draw-since my survey was for late August, the last winner shown was for early June. Hmm and the website triggered a security message about not having a valid certificate. Perhaps the company is not keeping IT prioritized.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
