Won't be in as much now that I am back to school. :D cleaning lady is coming to do last room. Will post some inside pics once done. September goal: no spend days...have them, lots of them.
Here are some pics of our finished yard.
The arena had knee high weeds between every patio stone. Kids are enjoying bike riding there.
Happy back to school."There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."

Lizzie very generous and kind of you to help that mom out, it's hard being on a budget as we all know and especially no fun when you are waiting for your cheque to come in and you have kids to take care of

Bunch of busy bees here, it's so nice.
I had my busiest day in a long time (am paying for it now, pretty much the only thing which doesn't hurt is my hair!).
Baked two loaves of banana bread, made a big supper - something special for our son that we haven't had in a long time. Husband and son worked on our van at the shop all afternoon, so they were beat.
Had a great supper and visit. Sent son home with a loaf of banana bread, leftovers from supper, coleslaw, pasta salad, grapes, plums, juice, pop - and a device charger thingee which I used points for on CHCH. He was a happy young man, lol!
For those with children starting back at school, hope all goes well!

Granger what a lovely home you have, no wonder you were so excited to buy it. I hope you have a wonderful first day of school!! I get to take my granddaughter in the morning and we had fun picking out her first day of school outfit!!
Lizzie so nice of you to help out the single mom, she will remember your kindness for ever.
Nancy great job with the reuse it center, great deals, it is so nice to find great deals on clothes for the kids especially this time of year!
Natalka so glad you had a great day, I know it is hit and miss with you, must be frustrating for you.
Well worked all day and came home and made Reubans for supper for my son and I...yum!! I now have a small lasagna in the oven for his supper tomorrow night and the chicken prepped for butter chicken for Wednesday night, he will be on his own so I have everything on plates and he can hobble to the microwave and carefully hobble to the table, we are making progress!! I;m beat it will be bed by 11 for me and up early in the morning.

I've got a lot planned for tomorrow. I guess LO will be going to daycare for the day, which will help me get things done. I'm picking up free frozen grated zucchini. 10% off Sobeys shopping and 20% off Nutters shopping. Then baking: zucchini banana chocolate chip muffins, drop biscuits, and a new recipe of cranberry white chocolate oatmeal squares (for me to wrap and freeze for my teaching lunches). I have a meeting at 3:30 (which pays honorarium), and another meeting at 7:30. I plan on making fin and hatti, which is why I will be baking biscuits earlier in the day. Well, that's the general plan for tomorrow. It will be busy and long, but I'm hoping it will be worth it.

Happy Tuesday and yeah to a short work week . I'm actually taking the afternoon off to get some things done and get ready for DS's birthday even thought we are missing Grandma (she is off on a girls week trip in Muskoka. Glad she is having fun ) So the plan is to return a few items that are too small, get the things I need for dinner and hopefully clean up a few things at home and post a few items for sale.
