I managed to get my "Filing" drawer tidied. I took a bunch of old papers to work to be shredded. Threw out old envelopes but i swear...it looks just as full as when i started even though i took a ton out.
Tomorrow is not gong to be frugal...actually this month food/snackwise (i misut start behaving) feels unfrugal!
I'm taking dragon (my bishcon shih tzu) to the vet tomorrow for ears cleaning, anal gland suppression, allergy meds and a look at the paws shes been obsseivly licking. I have a feelng its going to be atleast a 200 dollar visit
Baby sitting again tonight.

Well I survived the night after six 10 year old boys slept over. They were very quiet watching a movie which surprised me. Hoping they sleep a bit longer then I'm on pancake duty!

Good Morning All,
Coupongirl hope you feel better soon
MrsS hopefully they compensate you
WOW what an insane week, work is completely insane right now, word is out prices are going up plus we are booking (buy skid lots get rock bottom pricing) so this week has been insane, we are running around like chickens with out heads chopped off.
Not too much has gotten done around the house as we are adjusting to mom working and cutting back on take out and eating out. As well Thursday after work I went and got my hair cut, it was getting super unmanageable, all I could do is put it in a ponytail. I also had to run and grab a bag for my cousin's wife baby shower, which worked out as Dollarama is right down the road from where I got my hair cut. Present was given to my brother who will give it to my Step mom to take the shower.
Went shopping last night as there is no shopping today. We will be going this afternoon to sprinkle my grandparents ashes and than we will be going out to dinner for my bros Bday since he will be away on his Bday setting up our new location with my Dad.
Hope everyone has a great day.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good morning, everyone.
Happy Caturday!!!
Enough cat beds to make walking a hazard for the human, but no, we have to sleep in a box.
Lily dog and I were out bright and early, but it seems most of the neighbours were sleeping in. Then we met our newest neighbour. I'm in love. Lily, OTOH, not so much, especially when Syd barked at her. Usually she likes puppies, this pup has a bit too much attitude. Good thing I had met the pup without my entourage so I could make a good impression.
Watched an old Hitchcock film last night called Rich & Strange (aka East of Shanghai). It was truly strange, not at all like the typical Hitchcock films (it was one of his earliest) and I kept waiting for the husband, who was a piece of work, to end up in pieces. Alas, no such luck. If you are going to watch it, when you get to the scene involving the cute little black cat, fast forward until they are no longer onboard the ship. Trust me, you do not want to know what happens to kitty.
Going to go to the store later on and pick up some beets and try my hand at my Mom's recipe for pickled beets. We'll see how they turn out (or if I decide to nap instead after schlepping them home - good thing a nice neighbour is taking me ).
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Okay, I am being lazy this morning and do not want to go and do what I need to get done.
Over the past few weeks I have been able to get some great deals, here is what I have been able to pick up:
3 weeks ago 25 lbs of Roma Tomatoes should have been $8.99 but tomatoes were not rip and had a few marks so got them for $4.99 = $0.20/lb
Last weekend was my huge haul
12 x Ivory Body Wash (709 ml) $1.97 (PM Freshco) - $2.00 WUB 2 = $0.97/each
2 x Dove Conditioner (355 ml) $1.97 (PM Freshco) - $1.00 = $0.97/each
2 x Dove Shampoo (355 ml) $1.97 (PM Freshco) - $1.00 = $0.97/each
8 x Lysol Wipes (35s) $1.49 (PM Freshco) - $2.00 WUB 2 = $0.49/each
I price matched all of the above at Superstore last Saturday on No Tax day so I paid no tax
As well I also got
8 x Dawn Dish Soap (709 ml) $0.99 (PM Price Smart BC) - $2.00 WUB 2 = $+0.01/bottle
I could not price match at SuperStore as it was a BC flyer but there was a CO51 rebate of $0.50 we broke it into two transactions, I bought 4 and and mom bought 4 so with the rebate it covered the taxes and the dish soap was completely free.
This week I got
At Costco
2 x Campbell Chicken Broth (6 x 900 ml) $7.79/package = $1.30/each
At Superstore
10 x Milk Chocolate Chipits $2.50 - 50% Sticker = $1.25/bag = $12.50 - $1.50 (CartSmart) = $11.00
As well I accept Nancy's challenge I have bought the following
1 x Advil Cold & Sinus Plus $8.94 - $3.00 = $5.94
3 x Advil Cold & Sinus $8.94 - $3.00 = $5.94
1 x Advil Cold & Sinus Night $8.94 - $4.00 = $4.94
I think I am stocked up and best part is the 3 Advil Cold and Sinus came with Spin & Win codes. Yes I have serious sinus issues, some days my sinuses hate me but I cannot continually go on Antibiotics because they do not get along well with my tummy so I try to do everything lately to avoid them.Last edited by SassyAshley; Sat, Sep 20th, 2014 at 09:10 AM. Reason: Cannot believe I forgot the Chocolate Chips

Mrs S, there are far more things to be embarrassed about than carrying a cane. I take one with me on days I know I`ll be walking around a lot (it also helps to get a seat on the bus and I don`t have to explain why I need to sit instead of wobbling around on a moving vehicle like a drunken sailor ). Now, if you want real embarrassment, well, let`s just say that in my misspent youth, I enjoyed going dancing - long story short, never ever ever run up a flight of icy stairs in dance shoes while wearing a very short flowy skirt in the dead of winter. I don't even want to think how many people discovered what colour underwear I had on.
No injuries, so I can laugh about it now (& it *was* funny, I laughed as soon as I got inside the club and thawed out ).

As for the challenge of stocking up on cold meds, I'm not allowed anything (I'm already on heavy-duty transplant drugs) so the only thing I'll pick up is ginger ($1.97 lb at NF this week). Now, let's see if I have room in my freezer (maybe that can be the next challenge - organizing one's fridge/freezer? or am I the only one whose freezer contains nothing but ice cream and dog food? ).
