Some SCers might have scholarship or grant programs through employers or unions (if you belong to one or even banks/credit unions) for their youth to apply to help offset the tuition/book costs. Smelling salts should come along with the awards so the parents can recover when they learn the price of higher learning.

Lol, I had about 1000.00 in our PC savings (it’s the car replacement account) so I just moved that over to Tangerine & will move it back once the promo interest has been paid.

Since both offers relate to new deposits, just stay with your decision as the Tangerine offer ends in November. Then put the money back into PC and add a bit extra to get the interest for Nov/Dec.
