Annual open house at the Hamilton Canadian Japanese Cultural Centre happens this Sunday!
Free demos to view-if someone performs the tea ceremony, it is wonderful to see it and you will appreciate patience (very zen). Bring money for lunch or baked goods purchases. Also, you can purchase memberships and register for classes if you are interested! See last page of newsletter for event details:

Since 44-Rymal bus now runs on weekends (joy), East Hamilton/Stoney Creek/Ancaster/Mountain commuters have a chance to use transit (I don't know the Upper Ottawa schedule-it's likely a 15min walk to centre from Rymal @Up. Ottawa)! Small parking lot at the centre if you drive. You may be able to find parking at another lot nearby depending on Sunday customer traffic.
This is a great outing idea for culture-minded SCers! This thread is currently associated with: N/ALast edited by Ciel; Wed, Sep 3rd, 2014 at 12:17 AM.
