    I'm so sorry if it's been asked or this is the wrong place to ask this but I cannot find the answer lol
    Does anyone remember what company sends you the barcode scanner to scan your groceries. I was talking to a friend today and she's interested in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    agreed, I did it once for almost a year I gave up as it was such a insane amount of work. Worst part is I never once received any reward for doing it.

    I'd guess it's to determine consumer purchasing patterns for marketing purposes.

    I love nielsen!!! I've been with them for over a year, I've received $15 a month for scanning, chances of winning $5,000 gift cards and points to buy items for doing mini surveys. I recently cashed in on my points of got a bottle of elizabeth eden perfume!! Next time I'm going to get the panasonic microwave. I love knowing my opinions count in the consumer marketplace.
    Anyone else know of other companies like this??
