There are dates scattered though out the year, where we are reminded of the past...events, people, disasters, joyous occasions...
...but it shouldn't take a 'designated day' for us to remember...
When was the last time you stopped to reflect about something or someone?

-I very often stop to think about my mother-she has been gone 1 and a half years-hubby and I were on a cruise this summer (very much needed one havent travelled in 6 years )-was taking care of my mother-when the song unforgettable came on by nat king cole-then I had started to cry a few little tears-it was the song at my mom' 70th birthday-some 20 years ago-we rented a hall and had 100 people-she came in dancing with a handfull of balloons to that very song

The topic is too heavy to post for me.... I wish everyone a day of peace.

I can honestly say that this past year, I don't there's been a day that's gone by that I haven't stopped, just for that minute to remember a friend, a family member, an event, that's come into my life in the past several years. Life is all to short. Treat every day as a precious day to remember.
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

Everytime I smell a wood stove burining I think of my grandparents house as a child. It always makes me think about how at home I was there and how great they were.

My answer is very similar to holly's - every day, throughout the day. Don't know if that's simply because of being older, thus more experiences to think back on - but it's not all about the sad things that happened, also remembering happy things.

I have a wall dedicated to photos of all the pets I have had that have passed on. Everyday I look at it and think of all the moments of fun and love I had with each of them

It`s coming up to a year since I lost my Dad, so some memories are still a bit raw.
I try to think of happy memories I`ve had with the brats. I keep promising myself that I have to record some of their quirkier habits and tricks, but somehow I never seem to find the time. Maybe that will be my project for the week....
