If you ever need to cook a lot of hot dogs (say, for a child's birthday party), a not-so-quick but very easy way is to load up your crock pot with hot dogs, standing them on end. No need to add water, since the dogs will release moisture as they cook. Slow cook for four hours

I highly recommend these. They taste so yummy and there are so many things you can do with them. They do have a banana flavour taste but I like banana chocolate chip pancakes, so I usually just add some chocolate chips.
How to make them, plus some tips.

I've cut apples and put them back together with a little rubber band for years in DS's lunches, but I like this idea of the tic tac toe pattern! I don't use real rubber bands as I find they have a flavour, thin 'ouchless' elastics from the dollar store are better (one of the few things i will buy from the dollar store).

Awesome post. The amount of ideas is commendable. I really liked the “How to make Brownie in a mug” part and I am definitely trying it out next time. The hacks are simply top notch. I would like to share a similar tactic that use with the Turkey that I cook. I came across a product name Poultry Perfection( http://www.sparkinnovations.com/proj...ry-perfection/ )from Spark Innovations in Ontario which keeps the turkey in shape and also avoids it getting all messy.
