the update to 8.0.1 was pulled by Apple almost immediately on Tuesday. You might have it, and it might not have been an issue for you (yet) -- but chances are you only have 8.0(.0)
The update to iOS 8.0.2 (released Thursday night) resolves the issues they had with 8.0.1... and addresses the issues that 8.0.1 was supposed to fix.
If you got your update today or yesterday, then you are 8.0.2
Cheers

I feel some empathy for the software crew that had to solve that issue so quickly.

8.0.2 is out to resolve 8.0.1 issues. However it's not perfect.
