Great deal on Uncle Ben's Stir Fry kits

Was in Zehrs (Eramosa Rd, Guelph) today and found Uncle Ben's Stir Fry kits (Sweet and Sour) on for $2.99. They had the $4 off chicken with kit purchase coupons (peelies) on them and also 500 bonus PC points. Store had lots of options for chicken at around $4. Don't know if other Zehrs have same offer.

I've read that Sobeys here in NS has the same deal, but I've looked in two Sobeys, can't find 'em yet! Good deal.

At my walmart today these kits were marked down to $4.50 and all had the $4 off chicken coupon, works out great to reduce the cost of chicken.

Like frugal gal mentioned, Walmart had them for $4.50 less $4.00 off of chicken, and the 4 boxes of express rice was $5.00 and $4.00 off of pork, chicken or turkey...not as good a deal as clb 's mom, but I thought it was still good..since 1 bag of express rice goes for $2.98+

I finally found these at my local Sobeys, I'm going to make one tonight for DH and I to have for lunches the next couple days. I'll report on how they are! The ones my Sobeys had are sweet and sour.

In case anyone haven't noticed, the stir fry sauce is exactly the same as the one in UB Rice and Sauce combo that usually cost $3+, the rice is the same type but isn't as fresh so maybe that's why they are on sale.

I tried it and it wasn't bad for a quick meal..I found there wasn't enough sauce so I added some of my own..I used green, red and orange peppers, onions, garlic and chicken..my husband doesn't eat rice and he liked it without the rice..my daughter thought it was ok...
