This phone is on sale for $99 (reg $229), is it a good deal compare to the BLU wind jr?

Its a pretty good budget smartphone for that price. Nokia is a brand name as opposed to Blu , and Nokia makes well lasting solid phone. They are not fancy, but last a long time. Microsoft has now bought out Nokia.

Nice review below for Lumina 635. Read few of the comments too.

The good thing is its unlocked , so you can use it with any carrier.

If you can manage to find Moto G ( first generation ) at a similar price that's also very good. Moto G will be an Android phone..not a Win 8.1 phone, like Lumina 635

Thanks tjthemanto! The only thing I can identify is the expensive nokia phone has 8gb storage and the blu jr has 4gb. That's the extent of my smartphone knowledge.

I have NO sound ( audio ) whatsoever on the phone.

This is both while speaking & hearing . So both the earpiece & mouthpiece are not working.

I have tried playing youtube videos on it , calling people , listening to songs ..NADA.

Does anyone else have the same problem ?

Who do I contact to repair or exchange this phone ?..since its been almost 4 months since I bought it.

Do I deal with the Manufacturer ( BLU ) or do I go through Microsoft Canada Online store, to exchange or repair this phone ?

I am guessing the warranty on this phone is at least for 1 year.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting BLU Products. We are happy to help you!

We recommend that you perform a hard reset on your device. To perform the Hard Reset via the recovery mode on the BLU Win HD/JR, you will need follow these steps (please note that this will erase all the data, pictures and videos save in the internal memory be sure to back these up first):

    1. Press and hold the volume down button + Power button at the same time until you feel a vibration (about 3-5 seconds).
    2. Once you feel the vibration, let go of both volume down button + Power button and immediately press the volume down button until you see a large exclamation mark. (will show up after the BLU logo)
    3. Press the following four buttons in this order: volume up button, volume down button, power button, volume down button. Your phone should now reset and restart itself. (It might take a while for the reset to finish.)

Should you have any additional questions please contact us, via E-Mail or 1-877-602-8762 (Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm EST).
    Thank you for choosing BLU!
