This smells slight of a scare tactic for consumers...but, buy, buy, and buy now. I can't believe an experienced manufacturer would 'run out' of product. It just doesn't make sense....

The global link says there will be no problem with big stores, but some of the independent, small stores may not get products restocked, since Lego is going on to manufacture the 2015 lines.
Mind you, anyone looking for the Lego Advent calendars - especially Star Wars, shop early as always!

The SW one is always expensive, but there are others that are less.

This sounds like the annual "must buy" toy (or toys) cry that end up selling out in stores so parents/adults keen to gift their kids/young recipients will pay unreal cash amounts for ones listed online.
Let's take a breath-those same sets might be floating around online after Xmas with clearance prices.
Here's a Lego challenge-buy older sets!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
