I am not sure if anyone has posted about this yet, but I was wondering where everyone is planning on buying/have already bought their halloween candy? (I realize it is still a month away but it is never too early for a deal ).

Is there a certain store you always get yours at, or a certain sales price you wait for each year? I have never couponed Halloween candy so I have no idea where to start

If you have any suggestions or advice, thank you!

Just keep an eye on the major grocery store flyers for your area and the Shoppers flyer to get ideas about prices. Many grocery stores have displays now but some places have been selling Halloween aka snack-size stuff since August.
Think it wise to check out what candies/brands are sold at each store and if you see a flyer special or maybe PC Plus gives you a points offer WUS $XX on candies, you'll be motivated to get the treats.

I bought 3 bags of suckers at SDM for $1.49 (100 per pack) Think they were regular $3.99.
Now I need choc bars and chips.

I think for the chocolate snack sizes, $0.10 per piece is a good price. I haven't bought any because I know I would eat them before Oct 30! hehe

Yep. ^^ Years I buy too early I end up buying them twice. I am just going to keep my eye on the flyers and wait for a good deal.

^ I agree about the chocolate, too! Plus, they do get cheaper towards the end of the month.

At Giant Tiger, bought a 300g bag of mini Tootsie rolls and a 375g? bag of Child's play, they were $3. Also got Popeye candy sticks - 24 packs for $2, I bought two. Uh, one bag is for me - I LOVE them!

I'll buy chocolate and chips later in the month.

I agree with the lollipops from SDM. Always wondered if it would be worth going to Bulk Barn to get the individually wrapped candies

I agree about waiting to the end

    Bulk Barn works well when
    - the wrapped candy is discounted 20% or so
    - they have the $3 off $10/$15 offer
    - you can use the seniors or students 10% off discount

walmart has 70 ct chocolates for $7. I think there were almond joy, mounds and whoppers in the bag.

In the Sobeys ON flyer until Oct 16, in the small print it says Mars 90 count is $8.99
