    Went to check out our local pumpkin patch area yesterday (to fulfil an Item on my Halloween blog list) which also sells locally-grown produce. Got green peppers at 55 cents/lb (I don't think I've ever seen them at that low of a price in my life), cucumbers at 69 cents/lb (pretty good deal) and a 6-lb zucchini that cost me $2.99 (roughly 50 cents/lb).

    Never forget about locally-grown produce, I think they are hidden gems
