Thread: Grocery store celebration with many freebies. YMMV.

    Went to visit a friend and friend's Loblaws had a celebration



    Outside
    *free hot dog + toppings
    *free President's Choice pop
    *free President's Choice bottled water
    *free cotton candy
    *free popcorn
    *free Hallowe'en pumpkin for the first xx visitors that day

    Inside
    *free face painting for kids
    *free balloon animals for small kids and "big kids"


    The cooking school upstairs had
    *free samples from the in store dietitian (smoothies, i think)


    The sample ladies and gents had
    *free chicken noodle soup
    *free McDonald's coffee sample in a teeny tiny cup (selling along side Timmy's coffee in store, now)
    *free salad and dressing
    *free Pepperidge Farm tortilla chips
    *free organic cereal + milk

    The cashier was giving out
    *flyer for free 5000 points when you complete the storeopinion.ca survey and come back to the store with proof ($5.00 in President's Choice Plus points)


    Posted this in the freebies section but wanted to share with all. YMMV.
    But it's a good idea to check out store celebration events.
