It's valid only on Smucker's jams, jelliies, fruit spreads, and ice cream toppings.
I know some (many?) may disagree with me, but I am adamantly against using these coupons on Bick's, Carnation, Folgers, etc. products.
The coupon does state "any Smucker's product". It does NOT state "any J.M. Smucker's Company product". That's pretty clear to me. So when I read brags in the past about using this coupon on other products, I have to bite my tongue, and send a report. Yet the brag remains up, unedited by a mod. So lurkers think they can do the same thing.
And people are surprised when companies add restrictions to their coupons or stop producing them all together...

These coupons aren't vague. People have been creating their own loopholes and it's incorrect use of the coupon. The Smucker company is named after a guy with the last name Smucker. The same goes for the Kellogg company, but nobody is using Kellogg coupons on Keebler products.
The coupons are good only on Smucker-branded products; Tictacoh is completely correct. If you go to Smuckers.ca, you'll see the ONLY things on that website are jam, jellies, fruit spreads and ice cream toppings, as the previous poster stated.
People who abuse and misuse these coupons are going to end up ruining not just Smuckers and JM Smucker company coupons, but others as well.

Well said girls...why can't people just stick to the program and stop trying to figure out how to bend the rules.

I have always thought the same. The intention is obviously for it to be used on Smucker's jam, jelly or ice cream topping.

Yes I never need to think about other things as with school going kids almost every week need jam in diff. flavours and I always buy only smucker jams after these coupons. And for carnation they always have separate coupon in the same booklet. And also for other products like crisco etc. then why someone still need to misuse this poor coupon. Use right coupon for right product and don't make it harder for future.

I have only ever used it on jam, never thought to use it on the ice cream toppings. Hubby can go through a lot of jam, so when a sale comes along love this coupon for stocking up.

Wow I didn't know this. I always used it for jam- and pretty great prices on the jam when you wait for a sale. Loving the Robinhood booklet. Perfect timing to get baking goods in for Christmas.

I don't really see how you could use it on anything else anyway.. habitant which was previously mentioned says "the habitant soup company" and makes no mention of smuckers.. so why cashier would ring that through is beyond me.. as for bicks.. haven't checked label so see what that says.. weird suggestions anyway..
