Wishing to learn...

Please, please, please...Simply seeking clarification -- not criticizing -- seeking to learn...
As SCers we are bargoon hunters. There are every day bargoons (bread, milk, fruit) and there are special occasion bargoons
(example: son celebrating 5th birthday, any deals on brown sugar for his cake?)
I am confused as to where to post a request for deals.
Under "Forums" there is the category:
"Discuss and Request Deals and Coupons
This section is dedicated to requesting deals, flyers and coupons and asking for help.
Please try helping out your fellow SC members."
But also under Hot Deals to Price Match at WIKI Thread deal requests are posted.
Both acceptable?
Do certain situations apply to one forum and not the other?

I have learned the most from the Brags section.

In general they should go in request deals/coupons, as not everyone can PM at Walmart so they do not look there
If you are asking if a coupon exists, the forum is definitely the right place, if it is a deal and you can PM, the walmart thread is fine
But we don't actively moderate the threads to move them unless the OP asks us

I've been on this site for a while and I still don't know where to post or look..my favourites are brag, deals and blogs..I also check out flyers and coupons..I don't think to many complain, we all try to do our best when we post....

I have sent Boo a list that I worked on with members to streamline the forums and make the titles of the forums clearer - not sure what he has decided though
