AWESOME shopping skills!!! My girls play with lego friends as well, and they're certainly not cheap at full price.

Whoops... only the smallest Lego Friends sets were on for $12.99 at RCSS. Sets like the ones you bought were still $17.99, $24.99, and $39.99 at Superstore this weekend. Looks like a cashier made a mistake on the price matching.

Yes, I just heard that today. apparently there was a mistake in the flyer as the picture was a medium size set, but should have been a picture of the smaller size. I'm going to add a disclaimer to the first post! Thanks for mentioning this!

When 5 years old all I wanted to do was play with my Lego!!! My mother hand sewed & knitted Barbie cloths which I threw back into the closet. I wanted nothing to to with dolls but I LOVED my LEGO!!!

In high school my my mother wanted me to go into home economics. I refused and went into a drafting course instead. I was the only girl there back then. I still can't sew a button on a shirt ... but I can build a house now!

Then after 4 years in college I graduated in architecture and design and had a fabulous run for over 5 years thereafter travelling all across Canada in my mid 20's designing the GST offices across Canada.

You did great honey!!! This is not only a toy but an amazing gift that may prove itself in the future in being something that changes your sisters life forever ... as it did mine! Congrats
