Well...if it's a do it yourself craft, then you'd have to get that sticky magnetic strip stuff and stick it on the 'card' thingy so it'll cling to the muffin tin, which I'm assuming it is. Cute, though....it has me thinking about making our grandson something different this year and filling it with cute stuff that he likes..little Marvel figures, some candy but not much, lol...I'm going to have to think on that.....

I've made the advent calendar before. Used the sheet magnets on the back of the round circles.

Otoh...it is almost November!!!
I'm also on the look-out for the evening bag I couldn't find last year for our DD...work, work, work....

Speaking of gift baskets... I'm doing tea baskets for my sister, mom, and MIL this year. I've already got mugs, loose leaf tea (from teavana, my new obsession!), infusers, and a cute tin for the tea. I want to throw in a few more inexpensive items that sort of tie in- any ideas?

I've made melt and pour soaps in my youth, there are so many recipes out there, Canadian suppliers, and so easy to make bubble baths that have no horrible chemicals in them, esp for kids, etc.
Sheets....good ideas here...I thought of specialty biscuits, but I'm sure there are more ideas here!

Another cute Advent Calendar idea....at least there's enough room inside each of them
for a decent little gift.
It looks as if each gift is wrapped in tissue, tied at both ends to keep big eyes from peeking,
then stuffed inside. SO cute! And using old wrapping paper, or my Christmas scrapbooking
sheets would be so easy! This may be the one!
Found a larger image:
Hm. I don't like the cardboard showing...I'd fluff out the tissue more or
quickly splash paint on the inside for an inch or two...
Or, cut slashes in the paper, and glue them into the inside. Yep. Much easier.Last edited by Lynn49; Wed, Oct 29th, 2014 at 08:23 PM.
