I don't believe in omens
The owl was likely looking for food or found food in the area. I agree they are a neat bird.

OMG, one of our close family friend has just passed away, and now I recalled that he came to our home a week before the owl came, and yesterday we learned that he has died of cancer. I wish this isn't true, but now I kind of see how things connected. Too creepy.... and if you google online, you will find many stories people have seen an owl and someone they know dies soon after...
