I am hearing hint from the media that Black Friday may start very early. In early November. At least in the US.
i am guessing that, if Canadian retailers loose business by customers driving over the border to snag deals, Canadian retailers may jump on board.

I hope they wait until the remembrance day because, IMO, we should respect this day and for what happened in Quebec and Ottawa a few days ago. We should respect the pain of our fellow citizens.

What do you say about it?

I must admit that I am already excited about Black Friday. To me, it is my Christmas. I have already downloaded the Black Friday app and have started to read about sales in the US.

Some US deals start this Saturday, November 8
Online retailers will prepare for the holiday season even earlier this year; Amazon will unveil many of its holiday deals beginning Saturday. Office Depot and Sears will also roll out “Black Friday”-like deals in the coming weeks. Walmart will also reportedly test a program to match prices offered by online retailers such as Amazon, according the Wall Street Journal. The move would keep Walmart competitive this holiday season, but could also affect its fourth-quarter earnings.

I noticed Black Friday deals have started at many of the online retailers I visit. I just saw that AMI Clubwear is already beginning their Black Friday sales. Everything is 55% with a promo code. Name: AMIBlack Friday.jpg

I've noticed a lot of "pre-Black Friday" sales.....heck, some stores already have Christmas trees, etc on sale 50% off. How weird is that!

I wondering if they are hurting with their sales this year? Maybe they need to end 2014 with a good financial balance sheet
