I walked half an hour to Staples today to get bubble wrap-lined envelopes. Do you believe they had none in ANY size? I asked the stock person who said they had run out of everything! I looked on their website but shipping costs $15!
I found out Grand and Toy has shut down all its stores.
Walmart's website is out of the envelope size I need
Canada Post sells ONE Bubble mailer for $2 or I could get a 12 pack for $5 at Staples as long as I can find it
Where the heck can I buy these? Dollarama and Target are very far away from me.

Would you have a Mailboxes Etc or UPS store nearby?

OP, do you mean the Canada Post stand alone locations or the Shoppers Drug Mart post offices. Shoppers should have a variety of sizes

What about Costco and Walmart?
I keep the bubble wrap I get in packages - just wrap around whatever and stick in a regular envelope.
Grand and Toy was sold to OfficeMax, who closed the stores. They mainly sell to business on accounts.

One time I could not find a certain size bubble mailer at my local postal store inside Shoppers. Fortunately the Canada Post store in big box land had it in stock. Not sure where in Toronto there is a Canada Post owned outlet fully stocked with the mailers.
I know there is a convenience store at Queens Quay & York St that has a postal counter (never went in). If that's not too far for you, inquire there? I used to send my mail through the SDM on King & Yonge-never a fan of the second floor trip but it was close by. Is the Eaton Centre SDM postal section also out of the mailer?
I hear you, torontogal12, about not being able to conveniently go far away to the Walmarts and Costcos of the city. And with the TTC subways sometimes not being in service due to alarms/medical emergencies or worse each day, one does not wish to be stranded far away if walking is necessary when the subways are down.
Update-I did not know one can order envelopes from Ebay or Amazon!Last edited by Ciel; Sat, Nov 8th, 2014 at 05:24 PM.

Never got them in the size I wanted. Asked DH to drive me to Walmart and then when I got there every single envelope package was open and strewn all over the shelf. Only one pack was unopened so i took what I could get
