I want to preface this by saying that I am making pomegranate jelly as part of my xmas gifts to friends and family this year!!!
So, this evening I went to No Frills because they have pomegranates on sale for 97 Cents - I was on a mission! Haha... I got to No Frills and they were pretty much out of pomegranates and the few that were there were tiny and for the lack of a better term, crappy. So, off to Walmart I went with the No Frills flyer in hand so that I could price match at Walmart. I picked up 40, yes, 40 pomegranates. I had brought 20 POM coupons (save $1 when you buy 2 POM products) - I frequent Walmart quite regularly, so every time I went shopping I would grab a couple POM coupons because I use pomegranate in my morning smoothies. I got to the till, and the CS supervisor came over and told me due their new policy I would only be able to use 3 of the same coupon per transaction. She was completely cool, and directed me to a different till and rang in all my pomegranates!!! I chose to go this evening because it wasn't peak hours - I'm sure if it was during peak shopping hours there wouldn't have been much ease with me PMing, using coupons, and all the separate transaction that needed to done.
My break down:
Pomegranates at Walmart, regular price = 1.47 each
40 x $1.47 = $58.80
I paid = $18.80 after PMing and using my coupons
Total $ saved = $40
Total % saved = 68%
Now, I have the unfortunate task of peeling all these darn pomegranates... Any helpers? Lol. I'll pay you in funny musings and my awesome company!! HahahaLast edited by couponier; Sat, Nov 8th, 2014 at 11:58 PM.

Peeling is easy.. fill your freshly cleaned sink or a large bowl with cold water..soak for 5-10 minutes then just break the peels off.. Last year, my sister and I had to do 100.. they freeze well btw,, the seeds...
Be sure to click like and post a brag if you get the deal.. It makes my day!!! Flattery may just get you more deals
Be sure to double check your flyer, points and cashback offers~ YMMV

I didn't know they accepted POM coupons for regular pomegranates. I thought it was just for their product brand.

Yeah, it's a great coupon!!!!
I want to thank everyone for their peeling tips and advice. I ended up doing the bowl of water technique (seeds falls to the bottom, the white stuff floats on top). I currently, have my juices boiling on the stove - pomegranate juice, a little bit of lemon juice and I threw in 3 habanero peppers in the pot to add some kick. It'll be a Pomegranate Jelly with heat! Haha.
