Thank you very much for the link. It's really helpful. I also found out that there are benefits like CCTB/UCTB. Do you have any idea about those?

CCTB- is based on your income and comes each month( you apply for these things when your child is born). UCCB was 100 per month per child but will be going up next year-I think to 160 per month based on kids under 6-I am not very familiar with Quebec but I assume the first payment I linked you to is provincial whereas the others are federal and should be the same in Quebec I believe. I also understand that Quebec has subsidized childcare for $7 per day I think although there is talk of gearing that to parents income in the future. You could google CCTB and UCCB to find the max amounts and read about the upcoming changes. Perhaps another Quebec parent will weigh in.
