Timeframe for points transfer

General question. I have never transferred optimum points before. How long does it take for them to be transferred over to the other persons card?
I also want to thank everyone for their vast knowledge.

In my experience less than 15 minutes.

Immediately I'm a pro at transferring points between our cards. SDM must think I'm nuts if they check my transfers.

I wouldn't wait until the last minute for the transfer because I keep getting "Server encountered technical problems, please try after some time to view the transaction history information" when I logged into my account. It's been like this for weeks...
The phone line is open during business hours only, so do the transfer ahead of time if you want to combine points for the big redemption.

My transfers have always been immediately, but I do it usually on a weekday during the morning.
I would not wait until just before a redemption day, as I get the impression a lot of people start checking their points during that time, and that can slow things down/break servers.

transfer is usually done immediately unless there is server technical difficulties which I see quite often when I want to check the transactions on my points.
