Hi all! Checking through the thread titles similar to mine, I don't see any since 2011 (or at least the ones that pop up when I typed the thread title).

I have 92,667 in Optimum Points right now. I'm thinking of going out tonight to score the 18,500 tonight, but am wondering if there is an easier way of getting 2,400 points that I am not aware of.

I'm also thinking of buying a Shopper's gift card to pay for the tax on my purchases on Friday, but if I'm thinking right, I'd need to spend about $250 in gift cards to make it to 2,500. Obviously this would more than cover the tax on Friday.

Any other strategies you could think of would be so fantastic.

    Thanks!

Purchase 50.00 SDM gift card (500 regular points and you can use it for the tax on Bonus redemption day), then buy 2 x Soft Soap refills for $2.99 each and get 2000 bonus points (buy 2 get 2000 BPs) I believe this offer is good until Friday.

The dove shampoo is on sale for $3.99 and there is a promo for 1500 points if you buy 3. At my store they had the bonus packs at this price too with the shampoo and conditioner, so ony $2 each. Not sure if there are coupons out there but if there are it could be a very cheap way to get the point, if you happen to like that shampoo.

Thanks all! I wound up buying a $50 gift card and some Irish Spring Body Wash for 2000 bonus points because they were out of soft soap.

    All set for the weekend!
