About financial status, I know I had to provide pay stubs etc. and also in the letter of invitation I wrote for my parents, I pointed out that I would take of them financially during their stay. From what I read, this is what you did too. So I don't see why they were refused the visa.
Did your parents contacted the embassy to get an explanation?

If you are not successful with the embassy, then you could try to contact your local MP. I read on an immigration forum that some people have contacted their MPs for things like delays in processing visa, refusal, etc...

Thank you very much. Yes, we provided all the documents. Local MPs can help only about delays but for refusals they can do nothing stating that it's related to immigration office. At least that what I was told.

If you are totally sure everything was done properly both on their side and on your side, then you should be going to your MP. He or she will be able to assist you where to go further with the process - for example, to be your contact to the minister of immigration.

If I were you, stop using the word discrimination. That's not going to warm anyone to you.

I assume you have this basic information

Thank you very much. Yes, I know the sites and all the information. I was told MP cannot help me, they help only with delays. But I'll try. So as I see the only help is to go to MP. Thank you.
