people sadly get too influenced by fake regular prices & listed prices

you need to do a proper research before believing all those 50 % Off and 90 % off & other sale & discount signs.

Heck the sale prices of some stores are worse than regular prices of other stores

You're right! I bookmarked 2 items about a month ago. I checked last night and they've doubled the prices on both of them!

No, I don't go on sites like Amazon! If I needed an item like frying pans I would go to a physical store like CT, home ware and LD to buy things and with my mom!

I was looking for a mermaid tail for my daughter who asked for a Christmas present from Santa in November. I asked one of my friend to check to see if she could get one for me during black Friday weekend who was heading down to US, but she didn't have a time to buy one for me. When cyber money came, the price actually went up instead of down. It wasn't that much, but I thought to myself that I should have bought it earlier if the price even goes up on cyber Monday. Then, next day price went back so I bought it right away. Yes, I have to agree that they make consumers to think it is a good deal to buy stuff on days like Boxing day, cyber Monday, etc.

I totally agree, there seem to be some mind tricks going on at amazon!

Here's a handy little site that can give you an idea of how much the price of a particular item fluctuates over time: http://ca.camelcamelcamel.com/

Some items will not have a history available, some have only a few weeks' worth of data, and others may show 12 months+ of price history. Just copy the URL for the item and pop it in. The link below shows data for the previously noted luxury spatula which I'm certain must have received some kind of plastic surgery considering the list price.

I buy lots of stuff through Amazon.ca with my SB's. I always watch for the sales and the pricing on the day it was shipped because if the price is lower then you get it for that price. I have had to call customer service regarding this but it has always been credited back to my account the same day.

I do appreciate Amazon.ca's excellent customer service. They have some incredible deals, too. I just have to laugh when I see how high some items are listed. You're right, though...."watch for the sales and the pricing on the day it was shipped" - makes it all a bit of fun when shopping at Amazun. LOL.

I bought a case for my new phone from Amazon.ca for $10 regular. Now it's selling for $25.90!!! And there's "only 10 left in stock." I love how they give us a stock count. Yeah right...what do you think we are. Fools?

They will sell a movie DVD for $ 19.99 ( sale price ) and show the regular price as $ 49.99 and say 60 % off or something like that ..lol..and people buy it.

When it will be selling for $ 18.88 at Future Shop , Best Buy etc
