I decided we needed new camping chairs this year (the one we had were falling apart and I tossed them mid summer last year. I noticed a clearance on really good ones at CT. Reg over $30 and on clearance for $15.99. Figured a good deal since they weren't the cheap junk we had. Dug out my CT money along with the $24 or something I had on the card. Also needed tall with no handle coffee mug since the ones with the handle don't fit in my new car holder. They had the bubba tall nice ones on for $9.99 reg $24.99. So after CT money on the card and paper CT $ paid .20 cents Now I want to use my CT MC for the next few months to build the CT on the card $ for some free garden stuff

    Good Afternoon Everyone,

DH, Jaden, FIL and even Chester the golden retriever are gone to the cottage until Friday.

I am making garlic chicken wings for Logan and Shrimp Stir Fry for me (3 items pulled from the freezer.

Lunch is soup with crackers...yummers...It's really helping my cold and it's a cheap meal.

Made another $200 installment for my 2014 taxes

Going to go through my checkbooks to verify when to expect our cottage property taxes (as well as the boys lot), dh moose hunting lease and taxes for that as well. Also going to check when my CAA membership is due for renewal so that I am prepared.

I have 2 meet ups for items posted on local facebook page for next week while in town. Going to bump a few other posts that I haven't bumped in a while and wait and see.

    Wishing everyone a wonderful day.

I think people get used to getting them as gifts and lots dont make thjngs themselves so they dont understand the time it can take.

    Cute necklace!

Just got the final piece in the mail I needed to figure out my taxes for 2014. My daycare income has increased throughout the year (which is a good thing) but I was not increasing how much I was setting aside for taxes so I am worried I may be short.

So my goal is to finish it up this wknd so that I know exactly what I owe and hopefully I will have enough saved that I can file and pay what I owe by the end of Feb. I want to get my tax assessment back in time for renewing our mortgage hopefully in April.

My plan for 2015 is instead of setting aside a "set amount" each month I will set aside 15% of whatever I make each month that way I'll have more than enough set aside whether my income goes up or down

Well it was nice while it lasted the guys are back from the cottage they couldn't drive into the road and it was way to far to walk .

Dh laughed and said well well well I go away and you are having shrimp , he doesn't like garlic shrimp, we can it but he is very sensitive to the smell from others like me...

So I guess we are back to business as usual here , so I guess I will get the whip cracking for the baseboards to be installed tomorrow as they were painted but not installed .
