The average person pays $1000 a year for car insurance.... you appear to be under the average at $500.

With regards to being at fault... have you considered a dashcam as evidence against other drivers?

A few things to consider.....
- What type of vehicle are you driving? Is it a newer 2 door sports car? Have you considered an older 4 door car? Perhaps something with less horsepower? Something less of a target for thieves? You might find saving significant savings.
- What is your deductable? Have you considered raising your deductable to something you feel more comfortable in paying for minimum damage? Warning, I'm not suggesting you lower your "coverage". It's the "deductable" I suggesting you raise. That is you are willing to pay more of the initial cost before the insurance company will pay.
- Do you feel you are a safe driver? Do you feel your past accidents would have cleared you if there was a witness? Would a dashcam have helped? https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...onton+dash+cam
- was your accidents low speed parking collisions? Would installing backup cameras or getting a vehicle with 360 vision help? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V06d1co4pk8
- Do you feel you need more driving lessons? I found Young Drivers's defensive driving lessons has saved from many accidents. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYHBgXAN5fY
- is public transit convenient for you until your driving record clears itself up in a few years?

So after research and thinking... I have decided to park my car on comprehensive only and do transit... insuring my car for only a couple days here and there to run errands or take a day trip... I drive an 06 xtrail... My driving has improved since the accidents but i still need to pay for my mistakes. the 500 a month was only for liability..
