    Hi All,

New to the forum. I am a Canadian living in Mexico with residency in Canada still (complicated). I'm looking for a really good tax accountant or expert that is open to working with someone like me remotely. Looking for someone for a long term arrangement. Would really appreciate any recommendations! I'm open to them being anywhere in Canada but my residency is BC so probably best they they are located there.

I think you might need both a lawyer dealing with Canadian/Mexican immigration matters and an accountant.
BC mentions a list of foreign lawyers allowed to work in BC. No idea about fee for that list.

Reason I mention lawyer-in Ontario, I'm aware of a Hamilton lawyer that deals with Cdn/US immigration matters and has ON and NY law credentials.

You need to find someone with BC & Mexican credentials for law and likely accounting.

As for accountant, try BC CPA website. http://www.bccpa.ca/news-events-publications/
For tax matters, refer to the CRA's website for any Canada/Mexico tax news plus filing requirements. You still owe the CRA a tax return and need to find out if any taxes you pay to Mexico can be eligible for any credit against your Cdn return.

I agree with Ciel (above), sounds like you'll require both accounting and tax advice
