Feb. 25 Update - Oshawa @ Townline = Excellent service!
Went in for the $0.99 Perrier deal. Bought 12 bottles.
The nice cashier asked if I wanted a carry out since I had no cart. Then before totaling, she double checked her price list to see if a case price (12) would be a better deal for me. She asked me how many reusable bags with my PC card -- told her 4 and she gave me credit for 8. Made sure to call the store manager over and tell her about the great service. Went to No Frills website and told them how nice this morning' s shop was.
Jan 2015
Today's lunch hour shop, got
Silhouette yogurt and Smart Ones entrees.
The Silhouette yogurt was on clearance for $0.49, instead of $0.89, since it expires Feb. 7. When it scanned at the higher price, I asked for SCOP.
Problem #1 - The cashier did not know about the Scanning Code of Practice (SCOP). SCOP info was pasted right at her cash desk
*sigh*
Problem #2 - The guy who did the price check said, yup, it's $0.89 and started to walk away from the cashier.
I ran after him and asked him to come to the yogurt display. He saw the sign saying $0.49. He took all the signs and I said, what is happening. He said they forgot to tell me it's discounted so I am putting the price in the system. I said, what is happening with the ones I bought. As he was walking away from me, he told me to tell the cashier to just discount it. I had to walk fast to keep up with him to hear that good news.
*sigh*
A little voice in my head said, stop and check the rest of the receipt.
Smart Ones Santa Fe rice and beans on sale for $1.97. Scanned at $2.99. SCOP again.
Problem#3
My cashier said I had to go to another cashier to get the refund.
There was no line up with the new cashier
and
you guessed it
Problem #4
4 people showed up to check out with their groceries
They were getting angry waiting for me to get my SCOP
*sigh*
We don't usually shop at GTA No Frills. Why? Too many problems. Too many times.

I don't know what it is.
I have had problems in Ajax, Pickering, Cobourg, Oshawa (many times), Newcastle and even Campbellford.
Either the flyer items were not in stock, on the first day of the sale, or they try and make up their own coupon rules or they try to impose limits when there were no signs at the shelf or at the front door, or they are rude, and on and on and on.Last edited by Shwa Girl; Fri, Jan 30th, 2015 at 05:29 PM.

I hear ya. I haven't stepped foot in a No Frills in 3 years. They are awful. Bad service. No stock. Crazy lines. Far away. Lose, Lose, Lose, Lose.

Ah, @Shwa Girl, you know it's much better to submit a customer survey via the receipt code to let whoever has the fun of taking survey comments seriously. I don't want you to be in the news unless it's a big OLG lottery prize win!
Oh, do let the Retail Council of Canada know too. I'm sure someone is keeping statistics about compliance with the SCOP partners.Last edited by Ciel; Fri, Jan 30th, 2015 at 10:50 PM.
