I had a phone appointment with my hematologist on Wednesday. As expected, my bloodwork and weight indicate that I don't have to increase the dose of my injection blood thinner. I didn't have to increase my dose when I was pregnant with our son. I will need to change to a 12hr dosing of my injection blood thinner at 35wks, which is also what we did last time. I will need to do blood work before and 1wk after starting my 12hr blood thinner, but this is routine. The good news is that I am done doing my specialized blood work until after the babies are born.

Dh and I have officially picked the names for the twins. Our 2.5yr old son is named after my grandfather. The twins each have a middle name that has family significance. It somewhat makes it all feel more real.

I've spent time this week getting various time consuming things out of the way while taking LO to daycare for some 1/2 days, since I pay for the full month whether we use it or not. Got EI sorted out, LO went to the doctor (has a virus), got my eyes checked, got my hair cut (about 4" off), and various important phone calls.

I had a routine appointment with my GP this morning. LO was awesome. He sat in a chair in the exam room and just watched. It was so sweet. He usually likes to be more involved, but he was just chilling this time. My blood pressure was still good 104/60. Both babies heart rates were good too. I hadn't had an appointment with this doctor in 7wks. I've gained 1lb a week during this time. I've currently gained 16.5lbs this pregnancy and the babies should weigh 5lbs each right now.

Thanks. It is somewhat hard to believe that I have 10lbs of babies in there and have only gained 16.5lbs this pregnancy. Dh is concerned that I'm not gaining enough weight with my twin pregnancy. He says I need to have more high calorie snacks. He suggested the chocolate stash...which the twins don't always like. My weight gain has slowed some over the last couple of weeks, which coincides with having more issues with eating (upset stomach, getting full quickly, etc.).

I had an appointment with my hematologist on Tuesday. My initial blood work looks good and I started my 12hr injection blood thinners, which will make things safer when I go into labour. I do another round of CBCs next week to make sure that my body is fine with this new medication, which I took during my last pregnancy.

I had a prenatal appointment this morning. I am now 35wks 2 days pregnant with the twins and have gained nearly 19lbs. I've gained 1.4lbs a week over the past two weeks and the twins should be gaining a combined 1lb per week at this point. He commented that I've gotten big. My blood pressure is still good at 100/60, which is normal for me. I did my strep B test and hopefully the results get to Saskatoon without any issues.

I'm moving to Saskatoon on July 23rd with our nearly 3yr old son. I will be moving in with my mom, her fiance, and my brothers (13yrs old and 19yrs old). Dh is unable to join us at this time. He will drive up when labour starts or when he has some days off, whichever comes first. I have my next ultrasound on July 24th and see my OBGYN on July 27.

We are having some family maternity pictures taken tomorrow, so I will post a couple of pictures here after I get the electronic copy.

edit: I am having more issues with insomnia, pain, and mobility. I think baby A (boy) dropped earlier this week.
