Update July 3 - TWINS - I am having twins

I get the occasional messages asking for updates about the twins. I will continue to post updates in this thread as my pregnancy continues.

My nausea dropped to about 1/3 of the level that it had been for the last 3.5months. It is nice to only throw up about ever second day, which is progress for me. I actually like a lot of different foods again, I just have to be very careful to eat small portion sizes or else my stomach makes me pay for it for the next hour or more after I eat a "regular" amount of food. Even though I am only 17wks pregnant at this point, I often feel both babies move at some point during the day. I often catch myself automatically talking to my small belly when I feel a movement. I am still wearing most of my regular work clothes and haven't broken out my maternity clothes just yet.

I randomly sing every day. I grew up singing with my dad and siblings, we all have pretty good voices.

My belly with my son didn't get overly large, so I never used it to hold my dishes. Yesterday I caught myself starting to rest my hands on top of or below my belly while teaching my students.

I'm 18 1/2wks pregnant with the twins and haven't thrown up since last week. I had a good appetite two days this week, it's good to see progress.

I've been having some problems with cramps in my feet and calves, particularly when sleeping. Two weeks ago I started wearing my 30-40mmgh thought high compression stockings on both legs during the day.

If it makes you feel any better, I have been having some feet cramps at 22 weeks with one. I may need to get me a pair of those stockings!!!!

I have worn one on my left leg since August 2007, due to blood clots and doctors performing the wrong surgeries. There is permanent damage and I am on injection bloodthinners, which is why I am a "high risk" pregnancy every time. I certainly find that the stockings help, which is why I have no problem wearing them every day. I already owned the expensive stockings, so it didn't take much for me to start wearing on both legs with this twin pregnancy.
