My time at Walmart was TU-nice, but RCSS - some potential BAD NEWS!

Went to Walmart yesterday and price matched 37 cans of tuna to the GT sale (ended yesterday $1).
Then I used the 37 coupons for $1 receiving all for free!
I had more coupons and did not want to use all coupons in one place.
So I went to RCSS to try the same thing.

BAD NEWS.

(And I REALLY hope this supervisor is incorrect).
She said that RCSS has kept changing the policy recently.
The latest (she told me) was that I could not price match AND use a coupon - I could only do one or the other.
I told her that I had done this already multiple times in the past - a few days ago even - possibly even at the same till I was at!!
But she said this was new.
I left all the cans there and went home to cry (not really!!)

Had this told to me as well I think they make up their own rules because they don't understand Couponing. They lost a sale!!

I always find RCSS hit or miss. My RCSS would never match Giant Tiger, Adonis or any store like that. They would only match the products that have price up front (not multiple buys like 2 for 4.00) and most of the times they would only match 4 items.

I was told this a couple of weeks ago as well - they said the issue was that people were pming and using a coupon with a higher value so make overage -I had a cashier that I usually avoid for poor couponing knowledge so I discounted what she said at the time!

Of course the tuna coupon does not apply to the tuna that was on sale at GT. Everyone knows that!

I was told this once at nf. The cashier tried to say it was combining offers...like I was using 2 coupons. After discussing pc points on a friendly level she decided to let me do it.
