What's in store The expected pace of price inflation at the supermarket in 2015. (*denotes no change from Dec. forecast)
Food Category low end (%) high Dairy* -1 1 Grains* 0 2 Overall 0.7 3 Fish/seafood* 3 5 Fruits 3 5 Meat* 3 5 Vegetables 5.5 7.5

Hope everyone has a freezer and space to grow some vegetables because this is what is being predicted for this year % increases on food. I don't know about anyone else but my .30 raise isn't going to help much. I for one will be planting a large garden this year. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

If you shop in the smart ways, i.e. coupons on top of sales, you won't notice much difference in price change.

I am not a hunter nor is my husband but that is how people used to survive and a lot of people in this area still do. Sometimes you just have to feed your family whatever way you can. Big business is not making it easy for the average person. As long as it is for food and not just sport, killing a deer isn't a bad thing considering all that meat in the grocery store was once a living animal too. As far as container gardening it is actually quite easy and inexpensive and really kind of fun.
