Thank you everyone for your postive comments, as you can see this haul was very BIG I would like everyone to know I live in a large condo building, I gave a bunch of the boxes of cookies to an elderly woman who likes her cookies and tea, I donated 10 boxes of All bran cereal to a large family in my building, I gave some of my friends a bag filled of snacks and crackers. I am going to call the womens center on Monday to see if they will take all of the coffee off my hands I am a tea drinker For the questions about Tide; one of the bottles was half full and the 2 others were full. It saddens me that stores throw out so much stuff, I recently lost alot of work and have been going on these ventures and it is amazing what I have found and the money that my family is saving. Everyone should take one day out of the week to see how they can SAVE THE LANDFILLS and gain by getting great stuff for your home Thanks again everyone and Happy Savings!!!

I have bottles of Purex and they have expiry dates on them. Some are hard to read as they are clear looking. I had to hold it up to the light to read it. Maybe Tide has a best before date also ?

Was just going to add I would use it anyway. I can't see Detergent going bad myself. Probably some kind of law that they have to write expiry/Best before dates on it. My guess anyway

I know things like cake mixes or pancake mixes have to be tossed after expiry because something inthem that causes the rising (yeast i cases if bread) goes toxic
